Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Social Posting Pro ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). We are the controller of the personal information described here.
1. Information we collect
a. Information you give us
- Account details — name, username, email address, phone number, password (stored only as a salted hash), country and profile image.
- Billing details — plan, transaction history and billing contact details. Card numbers are entered directly with our payment providers; we do not receive or store full card numbers.
- Identity verification (KYC) — where required for payouts or withdrawals, identity documents and related information you submit.
- Content — posts, captions, images, videos, templates and other material you upload or generate.
- Support correspondence — messages, tickets and attachments you send us.
b. Information from connected social accounts
When you connect an account from Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube or Threads, we receive the profile information and permissions you authorise, together with access and refresh tokens. We use these strictly to provide the Service — to publish content you schedule and retrieve the analytics you ask for. Access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest. You can revoke our access at any time, from your Social Posting Pro dashboard or directly in the relevant platform's settings.
c. Information collected automatically
- Usage and log data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy.
2. How we use your information
- To create and administer your account and provide the Service.
- To publish, schedule and report on content on the accounts you have connected.
- To process payments, subscriptions, credits, affiliate commissions and withdrawals.
- To provide customer support and respond to your enquiries.
- To send service messages such as billing notices, security alerts and changes to our terms.
- To send marketing communications where you have not opted out; you may unsubscribe at any time.
- To monitor, secure and improve the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our terms.
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
3. Legal bases (UK/EU users)
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the Service), legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service, preventing fraud, direct marketing to existing customers), consent (non-essential cookies and certain marketing — you may withdraw consent at any time), and legal obligation (tax, accounting and lawful requests).
4. When we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Social media platforms — content and requests you direct us to send on your behalf.
- Payment providers — to take payment and process refunds and payouts.
- Service providers — hosting, storage, email and SMS delivery, error monitoring and analytics, acting on our instructions under contract.
- AI providers — where you use AI features, the prompts and related input you submit are sent to our AI provider to generate the requested output.
- Legal and safety — where required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Social Posting Pro, our users or the public.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers may process information in other countries. Where we transfer personal information out of the UK, EEA or another region with transfer restrictions, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and for as long afterwards as is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Billing and tax records are typically retained for at least seven (7) years. When you delete content or close your account, we delete or anonymise the associated data within a reasonable period, subject to routine backups.
7. Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest for social media access tokens, hashed passwords, access controls, and a Content Security Policy. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access a copy of your personal information; correct inaccurate information; delete your information; restrict or object to certain processing; port your data to another provider; and withdraw consent.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA) additionally have the right to know what personal information is collected, disclosed or sold or shared, the right to delete, the right to correct, the right to opt out of sale or sharing, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CPRA.
Florida residents may have rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights where it applies to us.
To exercise any right, email privacy@socialpostingpro.com. We will verify your request and respond within the period required by applicable law. You may also authorise an agent to act on your behalf.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children and is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Marketing and tracking preferences
You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any such email. You can control cookies as described in our Cookie Policy. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law.
11. Third-party links
The Service links to third-party websites and platforms that we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date and, where changes are material, notify you by email or in-app notice.
